well my buddy came over and we jumped the truck... sure nuff it started up... stupid cracked optima battery.... so i went and got me an AC delco battery, since thats all i can afford right now...

I'd see if Optima could Prorate a warranty or something for you. If it's less than one year old, go **** and moan to the place you purchased it at...

Well perhaps there was a flaw in the batt itself. Seriously, call Optima. I've had my yellow top since I had a '99 Z71 (NBS) and it's never failed me.

There ya go! lol Don't be discouraged on you losses...I went though $270 in shitty reman alts for my Ford before I broke down and spent $250 for a new 200A one.

Get a multimeter and check for a draw on the battery, anything more than 50 milliamps is gonna drain your battery pretty quick. Sounds like somethings stayin on and draining your battery. Fully charge the battery first, then test w/ the ammeter in series with the negative battery cable and the battery. If you see a big draw, start pulling fuses while monitoring the meter, when the number drops and draw is below 50 millamp, you've found the circuit with the problem. Do you have a big sound system or remote start or anything aftermarket like that?
