getting first mail order tune?

Default getting first mail order tune?

im getting my first nelson tune tomm. i went from a 4.8 to a 6.0 what kinda diff erence should i expect instant performance or just running better or what .when i switched i couldnt believe that even with a descent cam the 6.0 didnt impress me ,but from what im learning its all in the tune .allen at nelsons said it would be a night and day diff. whatta think guys ,im a little excited but im also a little nevous bacause everthing so far hasnt impressed me .im open fo r disc .give me some hope ,o i ordered the 93 pro edition tune

The 6.0l is what, 345hp stock? How did that not impress you? His tune will wake the 6.0l up even more but if you're still not impressed, I'll take it off your hands.

n it was just that the cam doesnt kick in till late and theres no bottom end .bad idle from the swap.wont even spin the tires because theres no response .i do feel the torque diff.i think it just needs tweeking i dont know.i see you have a nelson tune what did it do for you if you dont mind me asking?

Can you really run a 6.0 on a 4.8L tune? I'm sure that's part of the problem

DOH!!!! If that's the case then it won't be night and day, it'd be more like earth compared to mecury of difference.

I'm gonna laugh if you're running like a 234/238 with a stock converter and tuning and wonder why you have no bottom end

I think he's talking about the ol' 300 horsepower turd of a 6.0 that came out of like the 1999 up to 2002.

And I'll agree with him on that. That particular 6.0 sucks. So, I can see where this guy is unimpressed with that.

I will say that when Allen tunes your PCM, you WILL notice a distinct diffrence that you'll be much happy with.
