Default get my new exhaust tomorrow....

I picked up my 2.5", 1 chamber Delta Force flowmaster mufflers today. Cute lil suckas. Going to be 2.5" duals into the two mufflers and 2.5" tail pipes out of the mufflers and turning down right under the rear axle. Was going to run the tail pipes over the axle and dump em at the rear quarter panels like the old TAs and Z28s but fearing contact with the axle after the 4" drop prompted me to dump em. Should be pretty freakin loud. Hopefully I will gain a few ponies out of it also. I will report back tomorrow and give the details. later! <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Sounds like it is going to be a nice, loud setup. Kent.

Got the exhaust on today. Came out perfect. Nice welds, good hangers, pipes all the way to the axle with a turndown and slash cut. They did really good work and they are REALLY cheap. Setup sounds awesome when on the gas. At slow speeds there is a little more LOW tone and resonance then I like but I knew not having the pipes exit the rear of the truck would cause this. Didn't want to have clearance problems when I drop it. All in all it came out great. Hopefully it will gain a few ponies. I guess we'll see at the 14th meet at HRP. Later

Exhaust "seems" to have woke it up some. Went racing last night with a few trucks with the same mods and it seems to be running on par with them. Interesting thing that changed though. Since the exhaust install, the truck now barks rubber on the 1-2 shift everytime. It would never do it before. Only thing I can think of is that the exhaust must have giving the truck some sort of increase in power that going through the tranny must make it shift a little harder. Either way I am satisfied with the exhaust quality and sound. I guess I will know next week at the meet on the performance. I am hoping for 14.90s but realistically thinking its going to go 15.20s@91 or so. Last time out was a 15.55@89.4. Since then I have added the servo, HPP3, dual exhaust. We'll see. Later fellas
