Default generic exhaust

I was wondering i have a 06 crew and was looking at some generic ebay catback exhaust that uses a single in dual out flowmaster 44 and 2-1/2 inch mendrel bent pipes.

Can these types of pipes add much hp? What to expect? Or are they just sound enricheners?

Why.....? i only wanna spend like 250 shipped

No increase in HP, just sound.

I have stock catback with an 18" magnaflow... sounds great as it sits... nice and quiet, can hardly hear it inside at idle, and just a nice rumble at part throttle...

I have a Aerochamber in mine, stock 2.75" piping, and a 4"x18" chrome slash cut tip. Sounds awesome!! Sometimes it is a bit loud inside the cab, but it depends on how much throttle you give it. With the stock 3.23 it was stock on the freeway, and with the 3.90's it isn't bad unless you go 80+. I might try a Bassani next, I have them on my '94 Cobra, and there is no drone on the freeway at all.
