Has anyone heard anything about the gen III heads that edelbrock is trying to get 50 state legal? I was looking for something on thier website and noticed that they have an add for them, but they made it seem like the heads were going to be a TRUE bolt in and go deal for trucks......sounds a little wierd to me. Are they just taking the "better flow" design of the ls1/ls6 head and bringing it to the 5.3 and 4.8 crowd? I know that our truck heads dont flow as well as the LS1/6 heads do (except for the LQ9's...those are the same design as the LS6, just bigger), but it MUST be a pain in the *** to get a C.A.R.B EO# for such a new motor....what do you guys think?
