Default swapping LQ4 longblock in place of 2007 LC9

Hi,

I am glad I found this thread, it has the answers to some of my questions.

I am getting ready to drop my LQ4 in my 2007 Avalanche in place of the LC9. I have already had the 58x reluctor installed on the LQ4 crank, the 4x timing gear on the cam, now it's time to address the knock sensors. Any advice on drilling the block and tapping it for the newer knock sensors? Also what about the oil pressure sending unit? I have a new LQ4 rebuilt longblock and was hoping to install the covers from my aluminum LC9 where I can. Seems the cam valley cover may not be compatible either?

Thank you for the help. I would surely have been lost without this forum (we'll not as lost, since I am still lost!)!
