I love my 4.10s compared to the 3.42's but what I was saying is unless it is just something you want to say you have it wouldnt really be worth the money. If you didnt already have a posi and was going to do one then it wouldnt eb that big of a deal because your already in there but I would spend that money elsewhere since you already have 3.73's and you wouldnt feel much at all. Thats why I said if anything got to 4.56's but you want some streetability. Even though some say it isnt bad at all!

4.10's are great but say you had 3.73's and a Posi already would you do 4.10's? If so how far up on the list would it be? Thats all Im saying. 4.10s are cool as **** but I was just saying the money could be used betetr somewhere else since he has 3.73's IMO!

Well it finally happened last nite the 4.10are finally in. So far they feel great. I havent really gotton on it yet but judt crusing and accelerating seems so much better now. I have to get my puter reset as my ABS and Brake lights came on. Anyone near the BR area have a tool to do this?

The gears being through a few heat cycles is important, but also new bearings generate much more heat than used ones, which can overheat the metal and cause failure.

ive been thinking about doing this swap for a while now, but after my truck gets out of the body shop itl be in the tranny shop for a few things than i should have these in...if all goes to plan

This is probably a dumb question, but do you have to change the gears in the front diff (on a 4x4) when you change the rear?
