Default Gaskets/seals for Cam install...

Well gents, I'm wrapping up the shopping list for the cam, TC, and Shift Kit install. I figure I'll need a front engine seal, 2 water pump gaskets, 2 valve cover gaskets, and a transmission pan gasket. Am I missing anything? From what I remember the valve cover gaskets aren't necessary and a real PITA to replace.

Also, I'm heading to Advanced Auto parts in a bit. I assume the replacement seals/gaskets they offer are comparable to GM quality. What are your thoughts?

Well it sounds like you have most of it. I assume that you are changing the tranning filter too. It isn't required but the crank bolt is a good idea. Everything else sounds good.

YOU HAVE TO GET A CRANK BOLT! They are torque-to-yield and have to be replaced once they've been torqued down.

You really don't need to get the w/p or timing cover gaskets, as they are re-useable. The front oil seal isn't a bad idea if you have some miles on your motor.

Yes, I already planned for the filter. I have the crank bolt in hand. It came with the ASP Pulley kit.

A slightly used 208/216 on a 113 LSA with LS6 Springs. You all may have seen it before.

I am not really for sure but i think it is 12557075. Ya it is a time saver when doing the install so you don't have to do it twice.
