gas mileage question?

Yes, its on the passenger side right under the top cover.

Ok, cool, i'm gonna hook up the Fuel Pressure guage tomorrow and check it out, what kinda pressures should I be seeing with the Key on-engine off & while running?

If I'm not mistaken it should be about 51psi @ idle and 60psi when you pull the Vac hose off the FPR.

Just got done checking the fuel pressure, i'm seeing 46 PSI at idle with the engine warm, at 56psi with the vac. line pulled. Seems kinda low to me, but i'm not sure.

Make sure that the fp reg isn't leaking, they've been known to rupture and suck fuel through the vac hose (happened to mine last summer)

I've had issues like that on some other vehicles i've had, so I was looking for any signs of gas on the vac. line/outlet and there was nothing.

my friend says he gets better fuel mileage when he drives 70-80 instead of 50-60 on the highway. has anyone else noticed this? he wants to increase his performance and i told him to put gears in the rear end because he has such a high overdrive that he will still have low cruising rpm's. has anyone put gears in and had an increase in mileage driving 70 or below?
