And with the TB stall, how did/do you like that cam? What springs did you use.

It's a great setup. I use redesigned Comp Cams 918 Springs. I use Chromemoly pushrods from Comp, just for the strength. Some even tow with that stall.

yes, I would still need to be able to tow.

Also, with those mods, what kind of power do you think your truck is putting down and 1/4th times?

I have yet to go to the track with this setup. Willing to guess 320-340 rwhp.

the future is now....the mods you listed minus the heads can be had for under 1000. The are plenty of people here who lead you in the right direction. MOD!

one thing is for sure if your looking for better low end power, get rid of those 3.42 gears, ive had two trucks, one with a 5.3 and 3.42's and a 4.8 with the 3.73's, both rcsb and the 4.8 with the 3.73's would spank its nuts off everytime, u can still get descent gas mileage with the 3.73's

that's not a bad idea since I do mostly city driving and I think it would actually increase my gas mileage. I did 23.5 mpg on the highway though

well if u do light to light the 3.73 gears wont require as much gas to get to the speed, but they still manage to take the gas, but it does make a huge difference in accerlation, u could probably find a set of 3.73's cheap
