Default Fuse or no Fuse with fan harness?

Got everything hooked up on the fan harness late last night except for the toggle switch. I CAN NOT have the pcm tuned for the fans for a few months until my dyno-tune. I had the blue pcm wire extended about 5-6' so I could hook it up to my toggle.

My question is: Do I need to run an inline fuse? If so, what size? Small or big fuse, like on the stock FAL set-up? It didn't come with one and says nothing about it in the directions. Do I ground the black wire on the toggle or hook it up to the battery? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

this is what i did, although my pcm is tuned for the fans. (shouldn't matter)

get you a good toggle switch from napa (50amp metal one, not those cheap plastic color ones), a two prong one.
take one prong and wire it up to tap into the blue wire. then wire the other prong to an ignition source that's hot all the time, incase you want to run the fans while the truck is off.
