Bill, the Radix kits come with a 255 pump fwiw. If you bought one more 255, it is possible to fit them both in the tank with modification. I don't have experience with twin pumps or BAP, don't know which is better. What do you have your Alky kit set to?

a dual intank 255 set up will outflow a single 255 with a bap. i had the single with a bap and it still couldnt keep up. i was dropping from 59 to 52 psi . i dont know if it was the feed line size or the pump or a combo of both but my new setup should provide the fuel i need not to mention the methanol injection.

yes and no, there are + & - to both. The twins will move more fuel but you'll have to keep your more fuel in your tank at any given time since they won't have a basket anymore, however many people live with that minor issue

on a serious note:
right now I'm a big fan of the surge tank setup for us 04 and up guys. We keep our stock fuel bucket with the upgraded Walbro fuel pump. That feeds a 1 gallon-ish surge tank. From there we run dual(or a single) fuel pumps to an engine mounted fuel pressure regulator with a return fuel line to the surge tank. Lastly, a return line from the surge tank to the main fuel tank.

something very similar to this, except instead of a factory in-line pump we would use our existing in-tank mounted pump:

some cool pics of surge tank setups:
