fuel pump fuse?

before i get yelled at, im new to this truck, only had it a few weeks! 
truck is a 2001 silverado rcsb, 4.8, 4l60e, all stock
anyway, drove fine on tuesday.
went to move it last night, wed, and it would start. was to dark to mess with it.
today i popped off the intake boot and sprayed in some starter fluid and it fired right up.
put some gas in it, checked/swapped relays, etc, still no start.
put my ear to the tank with someone turning the key, sure enough, no pump.
before i spend multiple hundreds of dollars on a pump, i just want to make sure there isnt a random fuse somewhere, or a common wire i should check.

Ah ok,, since yours is a 01 ours are the same.
When i put the Walbro and new fuel sending unit in, it came with a new Yellow 20A fuse. Its labeled under the hood in the fuse center. I cant remember exactly what its called tho.
You checked all the fuses to see if any are blown?

yeah i pulled all the fuses and checked them, and swapped around some relays just for ***** and giggles.
im 99% confident its the pump, but figured it would hurt to ask.
im a bmw tech, but this is my first silverado. just figured id ask around to see if there are some common problems or anything like that.
i already read up on the sender going bad and the gas gausge going crazy, which mine does, just nothing really pump specific.
while your helping me (apreciate it) is it worth going with a oem pump/sender, or can i get a sender seperately and use a walbro?
the truck is stock now, but there are plans of a 5.3 or 6.0 swap over the summer, along with longtubes, exhaust etc.

Depends on your future plans/goals.. Walbro 255 is prolly goin to be your cheapest bet.
My Sending unit was bad for 2 years
finally got around to fixing it a couple years ago.
i got my sending unit seperate, and just put it on the bucket. "already had the walbro in"

Get a test light and check your relay pod to see if its getting voltage, then test the fuse..
I think there is a grey wire under the fuse center thats your Fuel Pump hot wire.. thats where i tapped my oil pump in for my STS kit.
Start at the fuse, then the relay, then the wire.. Something isnt right thats for sure..
Nothing else get a Fuel Pressure Gauge and hook it up on your Fuel rail "passenger side of the intake"
