Smile Fuel pump arrived today

The Walbro came in today with an install kit. It's a F20000169 pump. Same pump as the GSS340 but with the pick up off centered instead of in the middle. Not sure if that will make the install easier or harder, but we will find out

Well, this was a bad idea. The Walbro is not going to work without modifying the fuel sender bucket, which in the end would result in having to keep at 1/4 tank of gas in the tank to keep from running out of gas. I think I will be returning this and go with the Holley pump at Speed eng. Seems to be a better drop in replacement and can be made to work as factory(no butchering up the bucket) Oh well, you learn somthing all the time when you start screwing around and modding things
