fuel pump???

will my stock fuel pump out of my 04 gmc sierra work on a 2000 chevy silverado? both are 5.3l and both are intank pumps. just wondering cuz a buddy of mine had his go out and i was gonna help him out. thanks

You may have already found out by now that you have a returnless setup while his is return style. So they are different.
