How do you remove the schrader valve? Just yank it out with some pliers?

NOOOO! There's a special little tool that gets in there and does it. It unthreads out of there. There are tools that are plastic and metal, and I prefer the metal, but either will work. You should be able to get one at any hardware or automotive store. They're really cheap, so be careful as not to strip it or break the tool.

The same tool that you use to remove a valve core from a tire works fine to unscrew it.

yup its like a buck or 2 at autozone. or just use pliers and twist it out but i would be afraid to damage something personally.
