fuel pressure regulator location

Default fuel pressure regulator location

well i figured out what i need hopefully. i am getting a new fpr and am not sure where it is or how to replace it. any tips/tricks?

are they easy to replace. am i gonna get blasted w/ fuel or anything?

Yes! Have a towel on standby and just be ready for it
I pulled my FPR yesterday. The front half came out and sprayed me a little then I pulled the filter with the attached small O ring and got another shower of 93 octane . If you are going to change the fuel filter as well, crack that loose first, to relieve the line pressure.

you just pull the vacuum tube, take off the little metal clamp thingamojobber, and it comes right out. like1slowhoe said use the towel. it should take 3 minutes.

I was told to take off the gas filler cap and release pressure that way

True, like I said I was told that and somebody is gonna have to be a guinnea pig. It might lessen the spray?
