Default Fuel pressure rail, shrader valve, guage adater?

This is going to sound really stupid, but I am hoping someone makes an adapter so I can thread a fuel pressure gauge on my fuel rail over the shrader valve. I see one on Autometer's site for a Ferd but I don't see one for a GM (Mostly stock 8.1L). Or does anyone know the thread of that fitting so I could just pull the Shrader valve and get an adapter? What's the easiest/cheaper way to do this?

1/4 inch flare. I use refrigerant gauges and hoses.

Not a stupid question at all — it's actually pretty common. The Schrader valve on most GM fuel rails (including the 8.1L) is typically 1/8" NPT thread once you remove the valve core. You can get a standard 1/8" NPT fuel pressure gauge adapter and thread it right in. Just make sure you use a gauge rated for fuel systems and thread sealant that’s safe for fuel. Some guys also just use a T-fitting if they want to keep the Schrader in place and still hook up a gauge.

Look at the AI making up a wrong answer. There's nothing 1/8 NPT inside or outside of a 1/4 flare with a shrader core. The threads of the core are some special weirdness and much smaller than 1/8 NPT. Everyone knows this.

Who or what benefits by joining this forum and making their or its first post with completely wrong information? How can this be avoided in the future?

In the past, it would seem bots join forums and post whatever it is they post (in the early days, simply quoting previous responses in a lame attempt to look "legit").. and then come back at a later date to edit the post once it's slipped past the immediate attention of everyone, and they fill it with spam links. It's pretty clever - the initial reply looks legit enough that it doesn't raise any real suspicion, and months later nobody is seeing it first-hand. But who sees it and might click the spam links, serving the purpose of the scheme? People that find the post through web searches.

I could be wrong, but it's a subject I've paid a bit of attention to over the past couple decades, and it's been interesting to watch the evolution of spam bots on forums. They're getting better.

Maybe Internet Brands could add a "choose the pictures with a bus" human test to the sign up process. I looked at the sign up page, it's titled "Sign up with one easy step". If I remember correctly, the only thing that you have to click on is already highlighted to receive emails from this site. You would only have to click on it to not receive emails. Some way to check for human-ness would be a good first step to eliminating bots. Nip it in the bud.
