Fuel Pressure Question
#1
According to my autometer electric guage, I have been around 52psi at idle for a long time. Fuel filter is reasonably new. Yesterday after I swapped in the 57's I noticed the guage now reads about 50psi at idle. Is this normal? I thought our fuel pressure was to be around 58psi at idle.
Can these factory regulators be adjusted? Do you think my guage is reading wrong?

your fine. when people talk about "base" fuel presure that is under no vacume or boost. when under a vacume the regulator reduces the presure and when under boost it increses the presure. if you pull the vacume line to the regulator you will see your base presure and that is probably around 58psi.
the regulator tries to keep a 58psi diference between the 2 side of the injector. i see about 55 at idle but i have low vacume and close to 75psi at max boost.
