Is there adifference between the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, and 8.1 eninges' fuel injectors? I am planning on ugrading mine and I wanted to know what the ratings for the stock injectors were.

 

I believe that it depends on the years...00-07 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 all had the same rating, something like 24.7 I believe. Not sure on the GMT900 trucks though. The 8.1 has something like 29.9 for gas engines, and 42# for marine engines. 99 was an off year, and the 4.8 and 5.3 have either 19 0r 21# injectors, not sure on the LQ4 that year....

Flex fuel engines are something like 33#, someone will correct me if I'm wrong...

 

yes you want the marine 8.1 liter injectors.

 

this is all correct but there is also the flex fuel injectors i think there around 53#
