Default Fuel Gauge Very Slow???

Filled up the Yukon today (93 oct as always) and the fuel gauge stayed on 'low fuel' for about 10 seconds when we cranked it up at the gas station getting ready to leave.

Have done 5 stop/starts since then and it is taking about 90+ seconds for the guage to read full, low fuel light will stay on about 5-10 seconds and the needle will very slowly creep to the right.

Anyone seen this before? Truck has 13k miles on it, and usually all the needles start off at the left position, and as soon as you crank it they begin to read properly (the gas one usually takes just a second or two to flip to the accurate reading).

Any ideas?

Loose connection, bad sender, bad cluster, who knows?

It should still be under warranty, let the dealer figure it out.

The only time I experienced the fuel guage not reacting properly was went I filled her up while running (checked tranny fluid). The guage sat on 1/4 for quite a while (15minutes). Otherwise she jumps to full after about a 1/2 second after starts up.

I notice the same thing if I fill it up while the engine is running. takes quite a while for it to read full if I do that.
