Default Fuel

I ordered new injectors on-line in which I ordered Delphi 253020288 with 4 holes. I received Delphi 171145031M with two holes. The injectors are for a 2000 GMC sierra 2500 with a 6.0 litre engine and 4WD. The pickup is a three door LS model. With the Delphi 171145031M work or should I send it back and try to locate the type that was previously in the truck.

Can you link what you bought because when I search those part numbers they do not come up with anything.

The numbers are too long from the looks of it, you must have added in a number or two on both.

In the end though, the injectors you bought must be 25lb/hr injectors to match the factory injectors in the truck.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that Delphi has changed the numbers and the old one don't come up. When I removed the old injectors, the numbers shown on them was the 253020288 from Delphi. I ordered new one using this old number. When they sent the new ones they had the number of 171145031M on them. When looking up this new numbers, I could not find it. I did find the Delphi number 171145031 listed, but it was for a newer model GMC using a 8.1L engine. The major difference is the old injectors had 4 holes and the ones received has 2 holes. Other than that, they look the same. Will the 2 hole injector work with the 6.0l engine? I tried to contact the seller and they stated in an e-mail that they should work.

This is the injector number I found. It's a AC Delco part number.

You should be able to find tons of this part number out there and they are direct replacements.
