Default Frustrated

Sent back my tune today to get the error code fixed. After putting back in my stock PCM, I did not notice a huge difference between the two. The shift points were off slightly and mushy. The truck seemed to still pull hard. I guess maybe I was expecting to much of an increase or difference. This probably has more to do with the truck being so damn heavy (cc z71) than anything else.

I do beleive that the RADIX is next on my list. Gotta have something big, real big.

PCM for less giving you trouble? Isnt your model of truck availible with a 6.0 option?Or is it just the Denali CC ?

No, pcmforless is not giving me trouble, he's actually has outstanding customer service. I was just hoping for an easy swap and more of a gain than I got. The truck is heavy and nothing is going to change that.

The is not a 6.0 option for my truck, I did not know they realeased a denali CC. I think the other Denali's come standard with the 6.0, not completely sure.

I only have about 150 miles. We will see when I get it back again. I am probably jumping the gun. Others have said it could take about 500 miles to adjust properly.

500 miles is usually when tune comes alive. It still gets better up to 2000 miles believe or not. Also a road trip for 50 miles or so cruising about 70 mph will make a big difference also.Computer needs time to learn.
