are front and rear 02 sensors interchangable?

if not mistaken different contectors not actually different sensors

I *think* that the sensors are the same and you can swap them if you swap the connector over, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes they are swappable. Different length in wiring I think.

ok so the final answer is that some are interchangable and some arent. the sensors on my truck are the denso's which are interchangable. the trucks with delphi 02 sensors re not interchangable.
