Default Forging 2013 5.3L

Who has forged their 5.3L? Was going to go with forged TSP crank. What do you guys recommend for rods and pistons. I know mahle makes stock size pistons. I don't want to bore it out to 5.7l

Truck is boosted, will be adding more boost and Nitrous Outlet direct port system

Stock crank is fine. We have the mahle power pak pistons for the 5.3l and a set of scat forged rods for $1100.
Let me know if you have any other questions!!

Why would you keep the stock crank? So just 3.800 pistons -4cc rods and arp hardware?

I think the better question is, why wouldn't you keep the stock crank?

What are your power goals?

The bearings will give before the crank does.

I wouldn't throw that kind of money into a Gen IV 5.3 unless I was shooting for over 1000hp. These LS motors are very tolerant of abuse. The more dangerous variable in there is the wet shot of nitrous that can backfire if improperly used or tuned. The forged bottom end won't help you in that event.
