Cool FMS Tahoe - New Best Tonight!

Took the Tahoe to the track tonight after new mods. (ASM headers, FMS custom y-pipe, put stock cats back on, ASP pulley, also did a valve job and resurfaced the heads while they were off since we had to replace lifters)

Best run and new best: 14.55 @ 91.8 2.03 60'

Pretty happy with the time being the fact that it weighs in at 5175 and running on 20's. Also, FINALLY had some traction problems

Previous best was 14.86 with cam, converter, shift kit, street tuning and no cats.

Now we are going to put the stock rims and tires back on, redyno and take it back to the track to see the difference.

Next mods: Posi unit, cold air intake, ported throttle body and electric fans

Nice times ... the Hoe's and Burb's really like to hook up well with their suspension setup.

Great times for a NA Tahoe a Radix would be faster but she still has a transmission. She may be the smart one staying NA.

She must be planning for a SC or they would have sawed down them heads for more compression.Note they installed better head gaskets

Curt.. Im taking advantage of him while he is interested in my vehicle

Flyer.. After the cam install the lifters made alot of noise

Whitt1 and Gonzo 6.0.. SC or something like that , we were planning on putting a SC on but now we are kicking around some options. No telling with Allan!

A louder valvetrain is normal after a cam install.

I can show Allen a really neat 4L80E transmission install, when you install the SC you'll need one.The weight of the Tahoe combined with HP and TQ you'll make with a cammed and Radix boosted 5.3 will break almost any 4L60E.
