Smile FLT 65E and Pacesetters installed

Just picked the truck up today after it being down for almost 4 weeks. Got the FLT level 5 65E installed along with a yank 3000TT and my pacesetter long tubes are in and truck drives and sounds great! One quick question because I have to head off to work - The spark plug wires on the driver side are touching the headers towards the base of the wire where the boot is really fat, is there a different wire I can switch to and if so where do I get it?
Thanks in advance
-Harry

Mine touch there as well, I have had it like that for a few months. The stock plug wires seem to have no trouble dealing with the heat, but I have been keeping an eye on them. I do have the air fuel ratios in the 12's right now since I am doing ve tuning, don't know if it would be any different if it were running any leaner.

Are you using stock or similiar plug wires? They are in all the way, I havnt had much time to investigate but I think it is 2 of them on the drivers side that are barely touching towards the base.

my were doing the samething on the driver's side. i just rotated the wire ~180*, or whatever it took, at the coil and it worked like a champ.

I dont see how rotating them will help, unless yours have some kind of bend in them. The shop my truck was at that did most of the work recomended some plug wires that have a 90 degree bend in them, so I will check into that as well I guess.
