Kinda funny when you think about it...bare set of LTs for a F body is like 440 for just the headers and they want 975 in Jegs for just the truck headers with out the Y pipe. I don't think there is that much more pipe there.

I think they will be a really good header when the price drops a little more

Thumbs up

The quality of the header cannot be matched. No cutting or welding is required and it comes as a complete kit... with cats and all the hardware needed as well. It's too bad that people try to make comparisons with different products or try to mix and match parts to make a comparison. The header is clean... no weld slag or sloppy welds. The collector area is clean without any obstructions.

That maybe the case, and I have seen the headers in person. While I might have my own opinions on what could be done a little better, they are a high quality piece, just saying thats a tad much for a set of LTs for a truck maybe if they did come with merge collectors on them it would be on track.

Besides the DynaTech makes the F car LTs, and the truck LTs...only difference being the F car's don't come with collectors on them (comparing the headers only...not the full kit with Y and cats), and you can't tell me there is $540 dollars in a few more inches of piping and those collectors....if they were merge collectors..I might agree with ya.

I thought it was for their 4L60e tranny and when I saw that $1166 first post I was going to have to buy a tranny -until someone mentioned the word header

They sure look nice...i have been loking at long tubes for a long time and they are the nicest set i have seen...not a bad deal if you put in the fact that it comes with y-pipe,highflow cats..and its all coated...

It would also be nice if a certain company would take care of the people that they sold pos headers that bang the floorboards on 95% of the cars. Your header is the WORST offender, so dont jump on people for comparing it to a product that actually fits.
