i think 40 series flowmaster sound great on just about anything. only down sides are, millions of truck have them & don't flow that well.

My cousin had true dual 40's on his 98, sounded pretty good. But, it will drone a little. He told me is was cool for about the first couple months, then is just annoyed him. So he spent $400 on a MagnaFlow Cat-Back....And it drones too, just like mine did on my last truck. The Mag that is on this truck doesnt drone at all, but it is HUGE and quiet.

So far, the best sounding muffler I have heard is Spintech. ZERO DRONE, and it souds WICKED! My buddy has one on his 04 Silvy, and I will be switching over as soon as I have some $$ for Dynatech LT's too.

I have true dual 40 series flows... it sounds great! I love it... but it did drop my mpg and it does get annoying when your with a girl trying to have a decent convo. it sucks... but with the radio on its perfectly fine.

the 70 series sounds great but is way too quiet, i ditched mine for a force pro chambered muffler(much like a 40 series)
