Flowmaster exhaust kit help
#1
I am planning on installing the Flowmaster cat-back kit #17392 on my Z71. I'm wondering if I am going to have a problem with ground clearance with this kit since it exits in front of the pass. wheel and I do a lot of off-roading. Anyone had similar thoughts or had any experience with this? Truck as at stock height with 285's on it, but will be lifted anoter inch in the rear and two in the front shortly.

you shouldn't have a problem whct so ever. You know if I was you I would jsut go to a muffler shop and have them slap on a 2 chamber flow with 1 in/2 out and run them out the side like you want them. it will probably be cheaper. and catbacks really don't due alot for performance atleast unless your running high HP levels. IMO

You Should Be Fine I Had Duals On Mine But I Had Them Run Out The Back Because I Had A Body And Suspension Lift. I Had Mine Run Out The Side Untill I Put The Body Lift On Then It Looked Like Butt

Thx guys, not really worried about the performance end of it-just looking for sounds good and looks good. I guess as long as I take it easy when I'm out wheelin' I'll be ok. Just gotta remember it's there when i decide to frame out on a 12 foot hill next time (that was interesting to say the least).
