Default Flo-pro mufflers

Anybody out there running a Flo-pro muffler? Likes/dislikes? Thinking of getting one instead of the Magnaflo X-flow like I said I was in my signature. Definitely going with a true dual setup on my truck, dual in dual out muffler. Any comments?

Hey Man still here at work it's about 6:30 p.m. I'd go with the Magnaflow like you had on your other truck if you want it loud. I've never heard any thing good or bad about the flow pro, but that Magnaflow is pretty darn good . Why the duels?

i am a fan of the flowmaster delta 40's...great sound at idle and WOT...a little cab noise but it's a pick-up those things are going to happen...

i know of one guy on silveradoss.com that went with flo-pro and was very happy with the results...i think the set up was a little pricey though...

I'm also considering the FloPro. I emailed Don asking about local dealers and was informed that the closest local dealer is in Bedford. He said the guy over there has a Silverado SS with a FloPro muffler on it if you want to hear one. I haven't had time to make it over to Bedford yet to check it out...
Email info@flopro.com for local dealers. They might have some new ones since I checked about a month ago.

deezel, give me the name of the shop in Bedford. I work in Euless, so I'll be very close to them. I'd really like to hear the flo-pro on an SS. That may be my SSs choice for a replacement muffler.

Well guys, that is where I heard about the Flo-pro. It is Kinney's Muffler and Exhaust on Bedford-Euless Rd at the corner of Brown Trail. They have a DVD player with a surround sound system that they can play clips of the vehicle's exhaust sound on. (actual clips from vehicles they installed exhaust on) I heard the Flo-pro on a 5.3L and it sounds awesome. I was mainly wondering about the performance aspect of it. The sound difference between it and the Magnaflow wasn't too different. The system they put on Chevy/GMC's is a true dual exhaust with a dual in dual out muffler. It runs $375.00 with chrome tips. Stainless tips are extra. I have had exhaust work done there on the Chevy I had before this one and they do top-notch work. It may be a little pricey but you get the quality and warranty with it that the other guys won't give you.
I did talk to Darrin up there and he is partial to the Flo-pro as is the owner who has one on his Tahoe. They said the performance is the same as a Magnaflow Xflow but they like the sound better. I guess we'll see. I am actually headed up there right now to have it put on. Let you know how it goes!

They told me that Kirk at Kinneys muffler has the SS.
I'd be very interested in feedback from you guys on the FloPro if/when you go to Kinneys. 375 seems a little steep, how much of that is for the tips? I was thinking dual rears turned down and hidden behind the bumper...

man, my buddy had a flo-pro on his 00 gmc with no cats and it sounded like PURE ***....it was silent at idle, couldn't hear the cam with that exhaust, and it was dumped and like i said with no cats. at WOT it sounded like a stocker with no tail pipe behind it basically.
