Well it's not an ON or OFF relay, it varies the fan speed for softer starts that are better for your charging system.

It comes with a 30A but the fuse holder is much smaller... Ill get pics tomorrow when its light out...

yep the 31165 is 50.00 from truckperformance. ask 01thunder to take a pic of his. that one i believe was my 40 amp version that i sold him.

I've got the 40 amp. Called Flex-a-lite when I bought the 25 amp one and they sent me the 40 amp for free, well of course I sent them the 25 amp back. Here is a caparison pic of the two. Top one is the 40amp. Can't see it to well, but the 40 amp has three LEDs and two more heat-sinks.

No, bought it up the road at JEGs. I thought Flex-a-lite took care of me pretty well.

The 40 amp version came with my 282 fans. No melting or burning out....yet.
