Well I have the LS1 fan setup...works well and is cheaper by a LOT. I have the 34" rad, ~160* thermo, and the LS1 fans. It gets just a lil hot here in Texas in the summer and the fans have never failed me. I also have the same fans on my F150...

Save some $$$ and go that route...

 

Well if I want a *** whoopin that is what I wouuld do. She just found out I bought the 02 sims to take the cats off and she did not appreciate it very much. I am hopping maybe next week or something. Still have a 1000 mortgage payment. Man it sucks being 22 and married(but I love her) everyone who doesnt have a wife can kiss my ***, the ones that do know exactly what I am talking about.

 

i saw a post somewhere about the fans draining their battery? anyone know anymore about this

 

If you leave them on with the truck off they will. These fans will hurt a stock charging system. The OE alt is usually 105A and that's about 30-40A at idle. I had an undercharge at idle with the STOCK crank pulley and my LS1 fans...with the OE 130A unit it outputs about 55-65A at idle, so I have no charging issues...well until my stereo is up real loud.
