Do a search on "LS1 Fan" on ebay, that and a controller is basically all you need. Less than 200 installed.

I have a 03 Silverado. I went with the Flex-A-Lite 295. They went on real good remove the Stock fan was hard, but a little Mexican power got them right off.

So whats better, the ls1 fans or the Flexalites?

FMI are there any other electric fan options, or any other electric fan options that anyone should care about?

flexalites are the best of the fans hands down. the 292's are the new ones that come with the specific mounting brackets for the new body style trucks.

ok thanx everyone I will look into the 292 and the ls1 fans. I just want to clean up the engine and also keep the truck cooler in this dry oklahoma 105 degree weather. Damn it's always windy here.
