I don't know much about the ls1 fans but they are much better price, then the flex-a-fans. I have never had after market fans these are the 1st one's I have and so far they are fine. Someone with the Ls1 fans should reply to you..

I am a first timer two, that's why I have so many questions? How long and hard was it to install the fans.

The ony thing that took me so long was the removeing the stock fan. I had to buy a Strap Wrench. $12.88 from Sears, then a Adjustable wrench $ 26.99, which I did not have these tools.

When I removed the stock fan I had my cousin, so he got the big *** adjustable wrench he went left " passanger " with a cheater bar I got the strap wrench I was holding on to the pulley. Pops he it comes. The wireing took some time with the cuting,tapeing, makeing sure everything looking nice.

But you should be able to get it installed may 4 hours.

Let me know I can help you with the wireing I just installed them last week

I have a big ol boy to help me with the strap wrench and also a electrician if I have any trouble. Now it's on to jump in and get dirty over the next few weeks. thanks for all your input.

I have yet to hear someone have problems with the cooling capabilities of the LS1 fans, which is the main reason I went with them.

i had a set of ls1 fans. unfortunately i had one of the motors go out. but when i did have them they worked fine. but i do like my flexalites.
