I've been looking at the same ones on Ebay myself for my powerdyne. Thats the same place I was going to mount mine. I have one of those chrome airdams with the fog lights and billet grille in the middle for cooling the cooler when I get one.

Could you slip an E fan on that thing or what. That would be much better than the scoop

A proper duct will be much better then any elec fan can put out. Get going and let us know how it goes.

Wont cool when your sitting still without an efan it would totally defeat the purpose of doing away with heat soak. When you sit in the staging lanes at the track or a red light on the street you have no airflow without a fan. You need a fan and a duct would be the best thing.

Have you ever measured IAT's on an intercooled setup? temps drop to below ambient in a matter of seconds once underway. I have done lots of logging on my last turbo powered car to know this.

Same goes for metal intake pipes. People say "you'll suffer form heatsoak due to a metal intake pipe." Hogwash. with the amount of air and velocity going through the pipe, there isn't enough time for the air to heat up once underway.

So duct it and keep the rubber to the road.
