Default fit 2500 dual exhaust in 1500?

so I was browsing header and I came across a few bolt in kits that remain dual exhaust for the 2500 trucks, kits that I seen for 1500 trucks all have a y pipe. i'm asking because a bolt in solution would be great for me.

I currently have pacesetter long tubes with flowmaster high flow cats dualed with xpipe. all 3 inch. when I received the truck it was all welded front to back. I had to cut to work on the truck and re weld when I added the cats and used band clamps where I could so I can remove for working on the truck. long story short it looks like crap and leaks pop up that require constant attention.

a lot of my problem is my crappy gasless welder but I wouldn't mind just bolting something in. so does anybody know if these 2500 kits will clear? conneting it to my mufflers back is cake walk.

I was thinking so since gm likes to share designs across the board. we are talking about the mid pipe section correct? I do know the headers should bolt right in. my main concern is getting around the trans and brace.

Any LQ9 1500 application like the SS, Denali truck, and Denali SUV all used the 2500 Mid pipes. From the Mid pipes to the muffler was basically the same as well. The differences was in the frame. They all used a torsion bar front suspension similar to a 2500, even the 2WD versions used the torsion bar. Not sure how much clearance difference there would be on a coil sprung application. The motor and trans is physically the same dimension but the coil sprung and torsion bar frames differ drastically in this area.

The main difference for the pipes being the overall length for some applications as well as the tailpipe exit from the muffler. Most LQ9 applications have some type of a tip while the 2500 had a straight exit from the pipe.

ok I got them and headers are on. I actually got the kit called maximizer instead of obx but it was packaged as obx. I haven't finished installing the mid pipe section. it all looks like it will fit but there are some quality issues. I have to get a pipe expander to finish up since they didn't do it enough on one section for the pipe to slide in. also the driver side cross over could be a little longer which would make it clear the trans/and brace better for more clearance. these went in easier than my pacesetters, but the are smaller and im sure wont flow as well.
