just to crunch some numbers for my sake or anyone elses, i ran a 12.77 at 8psi(good gas no nitrous) in my last truck. should be able to run that without the good gas now, probably even do 9psi, then drop 500lbs for no ext cab. even go one step further and run some good gas and 11-12psi. 11's all day long without nitrous!!!! that is a big *** cooler
.
if i had that set up i would go one step further and try and do that "super cool" stuff that they were talking about for the concept lighting that was linked to awhile back. is there a rule of thumb for cooler air vs hp?

Ryan - Where did you come across the pic of the refrigerated intercooler? You worked on "super cooling" your whipple?
Again, looks great and can't wait for the details.

You brought that to my attention hohl...I updated the site (the one under my posts not the one under my LS1tech bios) with pictures of the ENTIRE project as it progressed. There is some Very cool stuff in the Supercharger album -check it out.
That refridgerated intercooler is one bad *** intercooler. I have heard that with an incomming air temp of 105* it will drop it to 55*
MetalMan is the one who showed it to me, and he knows all about it. I don't, because he only sent me a picture and no info.

Did you consider one of the refrigerated intercoolers? That's what I meant to ask but my question wasn't clear. More than anything the picture made me curious.
A Google search came up with refrigerated intercooler. Seems like that's where the picture came from too.
