Go to LS1 How-to and read the article on the cam swap. The article is for a f-body, but it all pretty much applies. It has sequential steps, tells you what tools you need, what parts you'll need and has all your torque specs.

Also i just got the cam on these forums for 250 with springs. Had to buy tools and stuff and cost another 100 bucks install started on friday at 11 am and ended on saturday night at about 11 pm. granted i slept and had to take multiple trips to stores
