Default Finally some L33 testing

Well, I've done alot of Silverado testing over the past couple of years and i finally got some results from the new L33. My boss recently got a new demo and I had helped him pick the options for it a few months ago. He has an 05' K1500 version with extended cab and short box. The engine is the L33 with M30 trans and GT5/G80 rear. At this point the truck has less than a thousand miles on it. So far we've done a corsa catback, outlaw cold air intake, trailblazer converter, zippy kit, and zippy programming. We went to the track tonight in 82º weather and gave'r what she had. I still have some more room in the programming also I think. the best pass was a 15.42@88 (i'll check the mph tomorrow to make sure i'm correct on that). The best 60' was a 2.3xx because it kept leaving the line spinning. Track prep at this local track is terrible and the 275/70R17 Goodyear Silent Armor AT/S's don't stick for a damn. I think if we go to the track to the M10 event here in Michigan this fall I can get it into the 14's. We actually went there today to race the office managers hemi which is a 1500 extdended cab sport package model. That went a best of 15.8 n/a and 14.12 on the 100 shot. I smoked those times by bringing two much faster SS trucks. Either way i thought this was some vaild L33 info since there isn't much out there on them yet.

it has the GT5/G80. 4.10 gear with gov-lock. i also forgot to mention it has a 160 thermostat. i plan to get the truck into the 14's with more tuning and better weather though. i'm still trying to talk him into a mild cam. i'm pretty impressed with this new L33.

Not bad. The 6.0 in a heavier hd still seems to be worthy opponet with a 87mph trap. Bone stock with 87oct.
