With my converter and 226 cam there was no way in hell I could run in 2wd on stock tires. I would annihilate them off the line. So 4wd then the 2wd swtich was the only way to go. To stay in 4whi the whole way hurt my ET/MPH. Sometimes the truck wouldn't shift out or would take to long and my times suffered but all in all it was the best way to go in my situation.

Now I am like Parish and have to run the whole 1/4mile in 4WD

It's kind of a high MPH for that truck without a cam, or serious weight reduction. I only trapped 90mph with similar mods and normal weight. I trapped 94mph with the Z06 cam. So I wouldn't really use this as an example torib the Hemi guys with. Unless you wanna do it like they do with Hemi777. Like all Hemis can run what he does. LOL What a joke.

as for the 94.6 mph, this was with a g-tech. I think the general consensus is that they normally report a little higher speed than the drag strip.

Ack wait! So this time was with a G-Tech? Not the track?

No offence or anythning mate. Just curious because that makes a world of difference. Parish feels that the new style G-Tech is off by about .3 10ths. I find my G-Timer to be about .15-.25 10ths off and about .7-2mph. It really all depends on the road you run on

Now I don't feel so bad that you trapped 4mph higher than me with less mods. LOL

Gte that cam, some long tubes and gutt the cats, then install the nitrous kit and you'll be set man.
I ran a best of 14.29@97mph 2.0 60' N/A. Drop a 150shot on that and would have been close to if not in the high high 12s

yes that was with a g-tech which is obviously not as real world as numbers from the drag strip.
However i have used it for several years on various vehicles with good results.I have compared the 1/4 mile et.'s from my g-tech(converted them to 1/8 mile times) with 1/8 mile et's from my local strip and it has been pretty consistent.
The real benefit from the g-tech is that is a valuable testing device for mods.
My first g-tech pass a few months ago was a 15.88, so I can pretty much gauge the good, or bad with each additional mod.
