finally ran a 14.99 1/4 mile
#1
After three months or so of bolt ons I finally broke into the 14's. I ran a 6.57 zero to 60, and a 14.99 et. @ 94.6 mph.
Launched the truck in 4Hi at 2500 rpm shifted into 2Hi midway through 1st gear, shifted into 2nd, and 3rd at around 5800 rpm right before the rev limiter.
Still waiting on e-fan install, and custom tune, hope to get into the 14.70's.
If I can run a 14.70 that will equal the
best et. with my first car a 1985 5.0 liter Mustang that I had when I was 16.

Congrats man!!!
It took me a Z06 cam to break into the 14s. I was running 15.0s before the cam with similar mods as you on the same truck. I had headers but no UDpulley.
Yes you can shift into 2wd durring the race after launching in 4Hi. That was my usual technique before I did the turbo. Now it wont let me switch out. Guess the 2wd button is scared of my turbocharged TQ. Hahaha

when i made a run in 4hi my 60ft were just about the same but my 1/8 mile suffered. it takes my truck to long to switch out of 4hi, so for now i will keep the 2wd, untill i push some more power
