got my new truck last night, drove up to pick it up. I love it!! Charcoal Metalic 04 GMC ECSB, chrome nerf bars, and chrome wheels, Bose CD w/ amp and Sub. XM radio, and On Star. 5.3L, 3.73 Locker... I love it!! given its not broken in yet, so I need ti take it easy. I have 400 miles to go till the 500 mark.

Nice lookin truck--congrats!

GM makes a nice underseat storage bin that's easy to install and looks
factory installed when complete. Almost got a charcoal metallic too, but they had a white one with the wheel flares & 17" rims. So now I have a white 04 EC/SB Z71. No pix though. I have put a line-x bed liner (very nice)
and an A.R.E. MX series topper. Most folks say they look better without toppers, but when you hunt & fish a lot, the topper is so damn handy!
The satt phone with the Onstar is great, works everywhere (except under an overpass/parking garage).

Will be getting a corsa single side out catback & volant in Jun or Jul depending on when we get back. Also going to work with Alan to get the most-highly respected Nelson Tune. I think this truck w/ 5.3 is faster stock than my 99 2500 EC/SB 4x4 w/ 6.0, dynomax duals and K&N. Looking forward to doing some upgrades--good luck w/ yours.

Maybe an afterburning T-38 jet engine mounted in the bed too, just drop the tailgate & slam the throttle! Maybe I could beat the 10.91 1/4 ???
