Default A few questions???

I have a 2001 ecsb 2wd that im lookin into a cam and was wondering if it would be a good cam for my set up the cam is a 220/220 581/581 and i can order any lsa would also like to know what everyone thought about that. The truck is not a daily so not to concerend with fuel milage. But kinda wonder what it would get im also gonna do a stall at the same time was thinkin a 3000. im runnin 4.10s and 22's,cai,lt's ory, efans, and i plan on runnin a little spray on the motor. Also lookin into buying some pac springs good to .600 lift and some manley 7.4 pushrods, just wanna make sure everthing will work to good together. Thanks for any input.

Im guessing you have the 5.3. What are your goals for the truck? All out race, show? Boost? If your going to do a 3000 stall I would look more into the tsp224 on a 112lsa.

Sorry its a 5.3l and for now its not gonna be full race or nuthin just a fun weekend toy that can take down any little blue oval that comes in the rear view lol. But am planning on running a 100 shot on it too. Would like to use the 220 cause i can get it at a good price have also found 226/229 575/578 or a 236/242 580/590 for a decent price had chosen the 220 because i have read lots of good things about them on here. Thanks again

the 220 would be a nice cam if you can get it at a decent price. You may be pushing the 226/229 with a 3000 stall though. would need at least a 3200-3400.

Ok thanks but will the springs and pushrods work good with that cam, and if 3000 stall is too much, do you think 2800 stall or lower thanks.
