did these give you more leg room? Head room? I"m a pretty tall guy, and i could use about another 2-4 inches of leg room. BTW, the seats look great, my style for sure, doesn't have the ricer look to it either, NICE WORK!!

It gave me more leg/head room than I'll ever need. I have it sitting about 1-2 inches lower than the factory seats. It feels more like driving a car now. We made the brackets that way. You can just make the brackets to go as high as you want to sit. Leg room was dramatically increased. It was a really good/affordable mod. I feel alot more comfortable going down the track strapped in, and I went to the track with just this done, and gained a solid tenth or so in the 1/4(added bonus ). Only thing is I forget, and strap in sometimes before I close the door. No way you can reach and close the door when you strap in. You aren't moving anywhere, which is the way I want it. My girlfriend bitched for a few days about having to strap in, but she's used to it now.

Sorry to revive the thread, and this may be a stupid question but can you adjust the seats forward and backwards, also what about the back of the seats. I have an EC and want something manual instead of using the motor to move my factory leather seats. Also if I have passangers in the back I figure this will give them a couple inches leg room.

The seats can be slid both forward and back, and they recline both forward and backward. The rear of the seats are fully covered and look as good as the front. I have the harnesses mounted now, but I have the shoulder straps looped through the top holes for the time being, because I'm going to be doing a cage over the summer. The loop we were fabbing for just the harnesses ended up being a waste of time and didn't function like we wanted it too. It just wasn't strong enough to support itself without doing an entire cage.

So you think this would work good in an Extended cab? I've been thinking of getting the summit racing seats. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks, preferably of just how you have the belts attached/mounted is all I'm wanting to see. And did you make the seats electric or are they manual? I'm still trying to figure out a way of mounting harnesses in my truck when I do a seat swap and I'm between just using plates against the exterior of the cab, or trying to use the support for the child seat mounting.
