good call. he has 39 more cubes and a 3000 stall which likely stalls higher than it's rated at due to the weight and lower rpm torque numbers. with 39 less cubes and only 2500 stall the truck in question is still .09 quicker in the 60'.

That's the good thing about this forum. Enough people know their **** to keep the BS to a minimum. Maybe the guy did cut that 60'. But it's a good enough 60' with those minimal mods to raise some BS flags without proof.

Just think what our fastest truck list would look like if nobody ever raised a bs flag.

so you guys calling bs onthe times, does anyone remember the 13.2 @ 100 mph truck cutting a 1.7 60 ft without any internal mods, just boltons.. seems to me there is just some fast freaky trucks out there. some maybe with more mods they dont care to share.
i know i dont share my mods with everyone that asks. nope my truck dosent have a cam, its just the way the muffler sounds is my response..

I agree on the freak trucks, and they all seem to be in Louisiana.

 

that is a crazy 60' time although i'm guessing i was a high 1.7. his 60' time works with his quarter numbers though. he didn't have the mph which shows he was putting the majority of his power down in the 1/8 or so and pulling from there which is why he only pulled 100mph and managed to pull out a 13.2. this guy in question not only pulled a 1.64 60' time, but if i recall from one of his posts he pulled a 1.65 with a trailblazer converter. lets see, trailblazer converter and a naturally asperated 325 cubic inch engine in a 4000+lb truck? i also agree about the owner or anyone he knows. nobody seems to be showing proof....

I don't Don't have proof on the paper but I know him very well and I wouldn't doubt his times. He's not liar for his times. Although there may be some secrets he's holding in. He works for a dealership along with a bunch of buddies so he knows a lot about these engines. It doesn't matter if it's only a 2500 converter, it is really loose. I've pulled a 1.72 60' with 3.90's, 26" tires, and a 2800 vig. that flashed around 3100-3200. Now I have the 3000 that only flashes about 2500. All converters act different. 4.56 gears, 25" tires, and a loose converter =Quick acceleration and crossing the line at peak power in 3rd, 6800-7000. His truck is set up and geared for drag racing.
Randy- don't wanna bust your bubble but, what is that your 5th 5.3 and 8th trans. Let me tell you he's not scared to turn it!
