those are some killer times. I would suggest changing rod bolts. We had a casuality with a 5.3 with loose rod bolts. He pulled the pan after it blew, and all the rod bolts were loose. Mabey a week point finally coming out.... But, i would be there with ya, but i can't go fast anymore cause i don't need to shatter another drive shaft....

In the Honda world the motor to have is a B18 which is 1.8L. There is a nother motor B20, get this, its 2.0L The biger motor is cheaper but all the cool kids go with the smaller more expensive 1.8L...? And there is just something about waxing some one and then telling them its 4.8L

the motor they swap in is usually the b18c. its a direct replacement on most of the bodys and the most popular. the 2.0 is not as easy of a swap and it makes the car too heavy in the front which causes u to loose the handling, which pretti much ruins the point of an import. thats y they dont do it

there's a local guy here in SA, TX that has you beat, he runs a 4.8 in his '00 rc and a 200shot NOS.
After my tune and setting everything up he ran a

12.34 in the 1/4, i'll get back with the mph , i can't seem to remember it.

if you want to upgrade your bottom end put a ls6 crank in it, you can get them pretty cheap as take-off's from people that stroke there vettes. the only difference between the 4.8 and 5.3 liter is the stroke. so you would be kinda dumb not change out those parts, you would still be smaller than the 5.4 fords. and it would be like free power as you could use stock components.
