I'll let you know! lol Man those are smokin times. I'm on a different path though. I gotta keep mine mild....for now. Just don't wanna go nuts with an ext cab anymore. I'm gonna try to get in the mid/low 13's and leave it alone until I get to a point to get the project I want to go with.

Congrats!!!!!

I think I need some money! I'd love to get one, but I'll have to make due with a whipple. Got a trade in program?

thanks for the feedback guys, but now i have another question. I have a blown head gasket right now. it is going to be fixed over the winter. I dont want to worry about anything elsegoing on me. Where do you think i can find some good forged internals to put into the bottom end of my truck. i want to keep it a 4.8L so stroking it is out of the question. Thanks

those are some GREAT times and for a 4.8 it is even more impresive BUT.....

if your looking to go fast and your going to be buying internals and such and have the motor out it is really a great bang for the buck mod to step up to a 6.0.

can you tell me why you want to stick with the 4.8?

parish: I want to stick with the 4.8L fo many reasons. One is that no one is going that fast with them and I want to be that 1st person to make people realize that you dont have to use a 6.0 to go fast. Second is that i want to kill lightnings with a smaller engine than they have. I hate lightnings with a passion and i love it when i race one and they ask "is that a 6 liter??" and I can say "nope. its just a 4.8". Third is that no one believes that these engines can make power or turn good 1/4 mile numbers. Everyone is dropping in 6.0 liters in their trucks, which i think is awsome and a great way to make huge power. But its just not the way i want to make my power.
