what are the fastest 4.8 times any of you guys have seen. i want to get into mid 14's N/A. do you think i would be able to do that?

 

What kind of gear do you have? Is it posi ? A 373:1 with a posi would get you going in the right direction with the mods you have. Get some headers and not the shorties. Probably a good torque converter and gear/posi would be the most bang for the buck. That would be in the $1500 neighborhood for both. I want to put a Yank truck thruster 3000 in mine, that way I could keep my towing capacity. Check out the link to Yank here, good info.

 

i have crappy 3.42's and open differential. so that sucks. those well be some of my next mods are a posi an maybe 3.73's.
