Well after a few weeks of figuring a way around the water pump clearance issue I thought I had it figured out
I took the TB off today to see if the plan was going to work and its not gonna happen
I was going to rotate the TB so it would clear the water pump outlet, but the car manifold moves the TB down so low I can't make it work. So I think I am going pull the tube out of the manifold and weld up the hole. Then cut a new one on a angle and weld in a piece of 1 1/4 tube to miss the DBW motor. Man this thing is a PITA!
I see why nobody wants to mess with this. I will try to post pics.

Damn, I just got to open the pics that you sent me before
. I thought it looked like it would work, that would have been too easy. The adapter to get the truck fuel rails to fit look good though.
I'm confused by your post though. I assume you are going to modify the pump neck and not the manifold, right?
If you can't post the pics, email them to me and I will.

Thanks, I was hoping you would chime in. Is that what you did?
